Ready or not, here she comes

Twelve more days and this bride-to-be is coming down the aisle. The last time I checked in to wedding central, Erin still had that carefree attitude that she's showing here at her first wedding shower in Wichita last month. In fact, I was told, "If it's not done at this point, at least I tried." Which reminds me, she sure did try and break a couple of those bows.

Guys-
Ok, so I'll admit, I just went to your blog for the first time even though we have had a link to it for quite some time on our blog.

I just wanted to comment that the pics here and up on flikr are great.

Craig, how are you taking your low light/indoors shots. They are great. And the Jackson Hole pics are outstanding. Wish I would have spent more time taking pictures and less time gasping for air in the back country.

Hope everything is going great.

Thanks for checking in Rick. I was actually trying to post some more random photos last night but blogger was having some problems.

As far as low light goes, I generally prefer to crank up the ISO as far as I need to in order get the shutter speed/aperture I'm looking for—mainly this is because I actually like grain and I feel like the available light gives the shots a bit of a glow. However for Christmas Carrie's parents got me a new flash which I've been experimenting with (see Zoe's birthday) it's great because it has an adjustable head so I'm able to bounce it off of either the ceiling or the wall.

Hope this helps.
